Wait! I don’t have to do this all

Wait, I Don’t Have to Do It All: Reasons to Have a Team

As entrepreneurs, we can feel insurmountable pressure to do it all in order to have it all. But it’s just not realistic for so many reasons, including the fact that there are literally only so many hours in the day and we are not born with superpower strengths in all areas. We have our gifts, things that come naturally to us, things we enjoy doing, and others we thrive in the challenge of accomplishing. While on the other hand, there are those we barely survive getting through.

My strengths have always been in creativity, design, and anticipating what people need, along with curiosity and interest in people. I love working with clients to grow their marketing plans, their digital footprint, but my superpower is coaching them to find their voice, to help reconnect them with their passions and goals, as well as understanding what is stopping them from having the life they want.

Gaining More…Time…Focus…Revenue

It’s when we start realizing what we are actually losing by trying to do it all, that we start planning to outsource aspects we either don’t enjoy, find as our forte, or aren’t a good use of our time. AND we start gaining again. Gaining revenue. Gaining time. Gaining concentration. Gaining new connections.

In the entrepreneurial hierarchy of needs, we talk about finding support in your team. Yes, you may be a solopreneur, but you still have a team. A team could be anyone from a subcontractor, a mentor or coach, an accountant or banker, even your delivery driver. When we give ourselves permission to release some of the responsibilities we have been throwing down on ourselves, we learn to delegate things out to others.

The Team You Choose

Your team will grow from those that you choose to have in your squad. Sometimes the right fit finds their way to you through that beautiful network you have worked so hard on building.

Having help in the right areas at the right times leads to less waste, more time for revenue generation, and higher esteem for yourself and others within your network.

I say this with all sincerity, learn what you can let go of and then find your A-team that will not only support your dream but play an integral part in getting you there. Feel the time free up to focus on what it is YOU do best!

Shout Out to MY Team

Accounting/Bookkeeping: C2 Accounting and Business Support, whom I love working with and who has the same values I have in managing my money. They have saved me so much time and money by developing financial systems that work in my travel schedule.

Online Business Manager: Carolyn Stern is wonderful at keeping me on track and managing my social media schedule. Yes, I’m a marketer, and I don’t have time to manage my business and all of my marketing. She cares, anticipates my need, and keeps me on task even when I get distracted. Let’s face it, we all need a Caroyln in our lives.

Business Coach: Fireman Rob who helps me see what is possible and dreaming. If I tell people they need a coach, of course, I would need one too. We never stop growing, learning, and innovating.

Make sure you click the links above and check out my team!

Reach out to me, and let’s talk. I’ve helped hundreds of businesses over the years to develop marketing strategies that showcase who they are while selling their products or services.

Unleashing the Power of Your Personal Brand: Tips to Create Videos that Reflect Your True Self

In today’s world of social media, video content is more important than ever before. With so many brands vying for attention, it can be difficult to create a video that truly stands out. That’s why branded opinion videos have become increasingly popular. By combining your brand’s unique voice and perspective with current events or hot topics, you can create a video that not only entertains but also engages your audience in meaningful conversation. In this article, we’ll explore the key elements of a successful branded opinion video, from choosing the right topic to scripting and editing techniques.

Understanding your audience and their preferences

The first step in creating a branded opinion video is to understand your audience and their preferences. Who are you trying to reach, and what do they care about? What types of videos do they engage with the most? Take some time to research your target audience and get a sense of what topics they are interested in. Please don’t skip or spend too much time on this step. Make sure this supports your effort instead of getting stuck in this step.

Once you have a sense of your audience’s preferences, it’s important to consider how you can incorporate your brand’s voice and opinion into the video. What unique perspective can you offer on the chosen topic? How can you tie your brand’s characteristics, values, and messaging into the conversation? By focusing on your brand’s point of view, you can differentiate your video from others and make it more memorable.
Finally, it’s important to consider the tone and style of your video. Should it be serious or lighthearted? Should it be scripted or more spontaneous? By considering these factors, you can create a video that resonates with your audience and leaves a lasting impression.

Define your message

Once you’ve chosen a topic and considered your audience’s preferences, it’s time to define your message and opinion. What do you want to say about the topic, the point, and how can you tie it to your brand’s values and messaging? It’s important to be clear and concise in your messaging, as viewers are more likely to engage with a video that has a clear point of view. Maybe it’s not a great idea to get super clever/metaphorical with your messaging.

Pre-production: Planning your video

With your topic, audience, and messaging defined, it’s time to start planning your video. This includes everything from outlining your script to choosing a location and props. The more you plan ahead of time, the smoother the production process will be.
First, consider your script outline. What key points do you want to make, and how can you structure your video to keep viewers engaged? It’s important to keep your video concise and focused, as viewers have short attention spans. Remember today’s videos are 60-90 seconds.

Consider using visual aids, such as graphics or images, to reinforce your message and make your video more visually interesting.
Next, consider your location and props. Where will you film your video, and what will be in the background? Are there any props or accessories that can help reinforce your messaging or tie in with your brand? By considering these details ahead of time, you can create a more polished and professional-looking video.

Production: Shooting your video

Once you’ve planned your video, it’s time to start filming. This can be the most challenging part of the process, as there are many variables to consider. Here are some tips for making the filming process go smoothly:

  • Practice your script ahead of time. The more comfortable you are with the material, the more natural and authentic you will appear on camera.
  • Use proper lighting and sound equipment. Poor lighting and sound quality can distract from your message and make your video less engaging. This doesn’t mean it needs to be expensive.
  • Learn your Equipment. Play with it, and understand how it works. Day of shooting, you don’t want to deal with low batteries or equipment that won’t connect.
  • Consider different camera angles and shots. If this is possible for you, this can help keep your video visually interesting and engaging.
  • Don’t be afraid to do multiple takes. If you hated your take, do it again. But, doing too many gets you exhausted, frustrated, and usually unmotivated to do the next video.
Remember, today, people are looking for real people, not perfect ones!

Post-production: Editing your video

Once you’ve finished filming, it’s time to start editing your video. This is where you can add branding elements and fine-tune your messaging to make it as effective as possible.

Here are some tips for editing your video:

  • Use professional editing software if possible. Any video editing software will help. I like Adobe Premier or Camtasia. Some are easier than others to use. This will give you more control over the final product and allow you to add graphics, visual effects, and music.
  • Cut out any unnecessary footage. Remember, viewers have short attention spans, so it’s important to keep your video concise and focused.
  • Add branding elements. Such as your logo or brand colors, to reinforce your message and make your video more memorable.
  • Consider adding captions or subtitles. This can help make your video more accessible to viewers who are hard of hearing, don’t watch with audio turned on, or who don’t speak your language.

Pro-Tip!

Video editing may not be your thing, so consider hiring someone to help you. You can also hire someone to create templates for you to use so it’s easier for you to drop in the contents that change, like the video and music. Canva allows you to create video templates if that is helpful to you.

Branding your video

One of the key benefits of branded opinion videos is that they allow you to reinforce your brand’s messaging and values.

Here are some tips for adding branding elements to your video:

  • Use your brand’s logo and colors consistently throughout each video.
  • Depending on the type of video you are recording. Consider adding a call-to-action at the end of the video, such as asking viewers to visit your website or follow you on social media, or if the intent of the video is to engage or sales.
  • Use language and messaging that is consistent with your brand’s voice and tone.
  • Consider using visual aids, such as graphics or images, that tie into your brand’s messaging or values.

Optimize for social media

Sharing and promoting

Now that your video is optimized for social media, it’s time to start sharing and promoting it.

Here are some tips for getting your video in front of as many people as possible:

  • Share your video on all of your social media platforms. Consider using different captions or messages for each platform to make your video more engaging.
  • Consider partnering with influencers or other brands to help promote your video.
  • Use paid social media advertising to boost the video and reach a larger audience.
  • Encourage your followers to share your video with their own networks.

Defining and measuring success

Finally, it’s important to measure the success of your branded opinion video.

Here are some metrics to consider:

  1. Views: How many people have watched your video?
  2. Engagement: How many people have liked, commented on, or shared your video?
  3. Reach: How many people has your video reached?
  4. Conversion: How many people have taken a desired action, such as visiting your website or following you on social media?

By tracking these metrics, you can get a sense of how effective your branded opinion video has been and make adjustments for future videos. Remember to record and review these metrics monthly, quarterly, and yearly to get a bigger picture of what is working.

Branded opinion videos can be a powerful tool for engaging your audience and reinforcing your brand’s messaging and values. By choosing the right topic, crafting a clear message, and incorporating branding elements, you can create a video that stands out on social media and encourages meaningful conversation.

With the tips and techniques outlined in this article, you can create a branded opinion video that shines a spotlight on your brand like never before. So, grab your camera and get ready to make some magic!

A Small yet Powerful Step to Overcoming My Fear

A Small yet Powerful Step to Overcoming my Fear

Singing karaoke is a small but courageous step I recently took toward overcoming my fear of public speaking. I go to karaoke nights all the time with my sister and our friends but have never racked up enough courage to actively participate before. That is until this year’s annual family camping trip in the middle of Small Town, USA.

My sister Tracy can belt it out like no other untrained professional singer I’ve ever heard before. When she opens her mouth, nothing but controlled, harmonious power floats out. She commands the attention in every bar she’s ever sung in with her impressive chords. I, on the other hand, have always been always uncomfortable with all eyes on me.

But this last summer I started investing in myself in areas I hadn’t focused on in a while. The reality is, if I want to grow a public speaking career, I need to allow myself to be seen and heard by others.

I knew my sister would sing a duet with me; that was never a question. It would come down to finding a song that she wouldn’t simply blast right over the top of my much quieter voice. I was committed to not only putting myself out there but to actually having others hear me sing.

Scary as shit! But I did it.

We sang “These Boots are Made for Walking”, like most karaoke superstars after prime time hours, I didn’t actually know all the words to, but knew most of them. Last time I stood up I just lip-synced and when I was a kid in marching band all I did was march in place and pretend to play. Not this time.. No more faking it to feel comfortable.

Yes, it was terrifying, but once again; I proved to myself that I can take steps forward, no matter how small they are, to build my confidence and overcome my fears.

I challenge you to think of something you would really like to achieve and come up with a baby step you can take to start the progression toward fulfillment. I know I feel pretty proud of myself for ticking off the box next to karaoke and I would love for you to feel that, too!

Remember, your path to clarity, courage, and confidence doesn’t have to be walked alone.

Sometimes it’s not even walking but singing. If you’re inspired and would like guidance, schedule a call with me.

5 Reasons why you should personalize marketing

5 Reasons Why You Should Personalize Your Marketing

Many customers expect a personalized marketing experience and as many of 44% take their business elsewhere if they don’t get one.

5 Reasons Why You Should Personalize Your Marketing

Today we want to know who the companies are and what they value. No more hiding…your audience wants transparency…so why not give it to them.

One of the biggest challenges is making your marketing feel personal, and no, this doesn’t mean you have to have your face everywhere. Personalization is just important when you have a team.

Why?

1) This Builds the Know, Like, and Trust with your audience

This takes the most time, and when you start, it can feel like you are not getting any momentum and want to quit. But don’t. You will have to start all over again when you decide to try it again. Rember to design a plan you can create and implement. Otherwise, hire a team to help you. But getting potential clients to know, then like you, and finally, trust is important in the marketing cycle.

2) Retaining Customers

You’ve worked hard to find and get your clients. Now is your chance to keep them. Keep the amazing clients you’ve worked so hard to get. Don’t let yourself become a dinosaur between product/service sales just because you feel they will be loyal. You did a great service and a great job, but that’s not always enough.

… and It doesn’t work that way.

Instead, people will continue to see, talk and respond to your competitors and may choose them for their next purchase. Trust me, I’ve learned the hard way with this.

My marketing company sells website services, and once completed, it might be a year before they get a hosting bill or need changes. Do you know how many people they can talk to between that time if you are not creating and personalizing your marketing to even your current customers?

Don’t be a dinosaur and go extinct.

3) Stay Relevant

Your business will continue to grow, evolve and change. So why not reflect that in your marketing? No, I’m not talking about jumping on every new concept that shows up. If you do that, it feels like your feet never get to touch the ground, therefore losing your foundation, but do keep up with trends that make sense with what your goals are.

4) Builds Your Brand/Voice

It will get easier once you have identified your brand identity, messages, purpose values, and, as Mike Michalowicz advises, immutable laws.

All of this should be a part of your marketing strategy. Developing a marketing strategy improves your reach, reputation, and production. And it will become easier and simpler once you accept it’s a part of business and develop a habit of focusing on it.

5) Share-ability/Referrals

How can people share your company with others when they don’t have anything to forward? I have clients all the time that want referrals but don’t support their clients in that effort. You’re a business owner, you know how little extra time you may have in a day. Make it easy for your clients to refer you.

AdAge reports that 44% of customers take their business elsewhere if they don’t get a personalized experience.

Believe that Personalizing Marketing Is Effective

Who has the advantage in marketing your brand? You do! You are the one who is the most passionate and committed to your brand and your services/products.

So personalize your brand, and create within the channels you enjoy creating in. If you love video and speak better than writing, then create short videos.

Opportunities Are All Around Us

“Whatever Your Mind Can Conceive and Believe, It Can Achieve.” – Napoleon Hill.

I am sure you have heard throughout your life that you can do anything you put your mind to. In one ear it went and right out the other. Right? When did you stop believing your wildest dreams were achievable?

As children, we often plan for extravagant careers as we grow up and get to be adults. There is an unbreakable hope, confidence, and resiliency to grow to be whatever we want to be. A professional ballerina? No problem. A neuroscientist or astronaut – why not? Better yet, why not YOU? What message has been on repeat, but when did the record get stuck?

For most of us, it’s usually around our preteen years when we start experiencing judgment and untold expectations from our peers. Doubt and disbelief of others creep into our minds and snuff the light out that’d been burning since the day we were born. Letting life happen to us instead of shaping life into the masterpiece it could be.

The great news is… Napoleon Hill’s theory never expires. We just need to tweak our thinking so we can start creating our own self-fulfilling beliefs. There’s no more room for negativity! It’s literally never too late to make a change and start working towards your dreams.

Supportive Surroundings

In order to craft your own personal positivity thought cloud, you need to surround yourself with supportive input. For instance, think about the type of music you listen to… what are the lyrics saying? So many of us play music in the background of our lives and don’t even slow down enough to really hear the messaging that’s being planted into our subconscious. Choosing music that makes you feel empowered, uplifted, and confident is a great way to get your mindset in a positive direction.

It’s the same with people; surrounding yourself with friends, family, and colleagues you respect and even look up to. Like-minded people stick together and tend to rub off on each other. With that being said, if you were to hang around severely depressed souls all day that only complains about the weather, the state of the world, and their sad life at home, are you going to feel like taking on your dreams? Probably not. You’d probably delve down into the doldrums with them and get the record stuck again. Find your tribe! – others you aspire to be more like, have goals, and a positive perspective.

Believe It

You have to believe in your abilities. Sounds so easy but is challenging if we allow it to be. Sometimes we need to alter our beliefs to better serve us; understanding that not all negative beliefs can just be removed from our minds is something we have to accept. By understanding and restructuring your thoughts, they are released to the universe by certain beliefs that help us regain control over what we accept as truth and how we use that truth for the good.

For instance, because of my upbringing on a farm, I have this belief that if I don’t do a particular task at the very moment, it’s realized, something will die. It’s part of me, and I made it work for me since I couldn’t delete it. Now when I am feeling anxious about a situation or a task, I can ask myself, will something or someone die if I don’t get to this until morning? Or will I be just hurting myself by forcing it – staying up too late and working too many hours? I now use this negative belief as a guide to assess priority levels to ease my stress and the expectation I put on myself.

Repeating positive messaging, like mantras or affirmations, is important to stay tuned to the frequency we want to be emitting. Celebrating our little wins and loving ourselves with congratulations consistently is necessary to stay in line with your journey to achieving your dream. It takes practice – you will never be perfect, and that’s OK. No one is!

The power you hold is positively dream-worthy… I can’t wait to see you win! In fact, I am even here to help you do it; in guiding you to discover your defeating beliefs, their origins and rewriting them into a positive upgrade for your life.

Reach out to me, and let’s talk. I’ve helped hundreds of businesses over the years to develop marketing strategies that showcase who they are while selling their products or services.

5 Pieces of Wisdom to Overcome the Fear of No

So Afraid of the No, You Don’t Ever Ask

Asking for the sale can be a really scary thing.

Trust me, I know firsthand.

I am not a natural-born salesperson; I am a designer, an artist, and a coach. With that being said I have come to learn through the years that there is always a sales aspect in just about any career you pick. But how do we surpass the feeling of complete and utter dread when it comes to hearing the word “no”? So many of us actually walk away without asking because we are so afraid of a two-letter word.

Here’s my five pieces of wisdom when it comes to preparing yourself for the sales portion of your conversation.

So much of this comes down to practice. Work with a mentor or coach to get your verbiage down, the tone you want to take, and get your mouth moving in the same direction of your brain until that conversation becomes second nature.

Sometimes asking to connect or to follow up with more information versus asking for the sale is more appropriate. I encourage you to trust your gut; if someone seems stand-offish but you know you would be a great fit for them, ask them if you can set up a time to chat over the phone or even put together a proposal for them.

Stay True to Your Word:

Now that you have them committed to some kind of follow-up interaction, make sure you DO it! Make the call; send the proposal by the date you told them you would. If you don’t you may miss the opportunity and reduce your own credibility.

Understanding that sometimes we over or underestimate the scope of a project or amount of time a project is going to take happens. We’re human. 99.9% of the time we feel some anxiety around correcting our proposal or bid and this comes from the fear of hearing “no”. But all in all, it comes down to confidence in knowing you are the right fit. If they do say no, it’s ok. It just wasn’t meant for you.

Learn More About Yourself:

It’s ok, actually to be expected, that you will not know everything there is to know about your field or about your client. This is only unacceptable if you are unwilling to try. Research. Learn. And possibly most important, ask the question.

Instead of bracing for rejection embrace whatever response you get from the universe. Because it will teach you something new about yourself and your business. Grow to become the leader in your business you know you have in you and ASK!

If you are still looking for that perfect coach or mentor, reach out. I would be happy to help you reach the success you were made to have!

How Much is Too Much?

Tips to Keep your Outgoing Email Balanced

Don’t Let Your Email Marketing Overwhelm Your Audience: Tips for Striking a Balance

How much email is too much

As a business owner or marketer, it’s important to stay in touch with your customers and keep them engaged with your brand. One of the most effective ways to do this is through email marketing. However, it’s crucial to strike a balance between staying top-of-mind and overwhelming your audience with too many emails. In this article, I’ll share some tips for finding the right balance in your email marketing campaigns.

Email marketing is a powerful tool that allows you to connect with your customers and promote your products or services. It’s an affordable and effective way to reach a large audience and increase conversions. According to a recent survey, email marketing has an average ROI of $42 for every $1 spent. That’s a significant return on investment!

But with so many businesses sending out emails, it’s easy for your messages to get lost in the shuffle. That’s why it’s important to find the right balance of email frequency and content to keep your audience engaged without overwhelming them.

How to Determine the Right Amount of Emails to Send

Determining the right amount of emails to send can be tricky. You don’t want to send too many emails and risk irritating your subscribers, but you also don’t want to send too few and risk falling off their radar.

One way to strike a balance is to segment your email list based on customer behavior, preferences, and interests. For example, you can send more frequent emails to customers who have recently made a purchase or shown interest in a particular product or service. For other subscribers who are less engaged, you can send fewer emails to avoid overwhelming them.

Another factor to consider is the type of email you’re sending. For example, promotional emails may be sent less frequently than transactional emails like order confirmations or shipping notifications.

The Importance of Balancing Email Marketing with Social Media Posts

While email marketing is a powerful tool, it’s important to balance it with other marketing channels like social media. Social media allows you to reach a wider audience and engage with customers in real time. By integrating social media with your email marketing campaigns, you can amplify your message and increase engagement.

One way to do this is to include social media icons in your emails and encourage subscribers to follow you on social media. You can also promote your email campaigns on social media to attract new subscribers.

Creating a Marketing Calendar to Streamline Your Email Campaigns

One of the keys to successful email marketing is consistency. By creating a marketing calendar, you can plan your email campaigns in advance and ensure that you’re sending the right messages at the right time. This can help you avoid sending too many emails or missing important opportunities.

Your marketing calendar should include important dates like holidays, product launches, and sales. It should also include a schedule for regular newsletters, promotional emails, and other types of content.

Tips for Writing Engaging and Effective Email Content

The content of your emails is just as important as the frequency. To keep your audience engaged, your emails should be well-written, visually appealing, and relevant to their interests.

One way to do this is to use personalization and segmentation. By tailoring your messages to individual subscribers based on their behavior and preferences, you can increase engagement and conversions.

Your emails should also include a clear call-to-action that encourages subscribers to take a specific action, such as making a purchase or visiting your website.

The Benefits of Personalization and Segmentation in Email Marketing

Personalization and segmentation are powerful tools that can help you create more effective email campaigns. By tailoring your messages to individual subscribers based on their behavior and preferences, you can increase engagement and conversions.

For example, you can use customer data to create targeted email campaigns that promote specific products or services. You can also use segmentation to send different messages to customers based on their interests or location.

Using Automation to Reduce Overwhelm and Increase Efficiency

Automation is another tool that can help you streamline your email marketing campaigns and reduce overwhelm. By using automation software, you can schedule emails in advance and send targeted messages to specific segments of your audience.

For example, you can set up an automated welcome email series that introduces new subscribers to your brand and encourages them to make a purchase. You can also use automation to send reminder emails to customers who have abandoned their shopping carts or to follow up with customers after a purchase.

Measuring Success and Adjusting Your Email Marketing Strategy

To ensure that your email marketing campaigns are effective, it’s important to measure their success and make adjustments as needed. You can use metrics like open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates to track the performance of your emails.

If you notice that your open rates are low, for example, you may need to adjust your subject lines or timing. If your click-through rates are low, you may need to improve the content of your emails or make the call-to-action more clear.

The Negative Impact of Sending Too Many Emails

Sending too many emails can have a negative impact on your email marketing campaigns. It can lead to higher unsubscribe rates, lower engagement, and a poor reputation for your brand.

To avoid overwhelming your subscribers, it’s important to find the right balance of email frequency and content. You may need to experiment with different strategies to find what works best for your audience.

Email marketing is a powerful tool that can help you connect with your customers and increase conversions. But it’s important to find the right balance of email frequency and content to avoid overwhelming your audience.

By segmenting your email list, balancing email marketing with social media, creating a marketing calendar, writing engaging content, and using personalization and automation, you can create effective email campaigns that keep your audience engaged without overwhelming them.

Remember to measure the success of your campaigns and make adjustments as needed to ensure that your email marketing strategy is effective and efficient. By finding the right balance, you can build strong relationships with your customers and grow your business.

Finding My Voice After Years of Silence

Finding My Voice After Years of Silence

Have you ever felt like nobody listens to you?

And nobody cares what you have to say?

So you eventually just let that feeling cause you to stop speaking up.

Those thoughts ran through my head for decades…

When I was a little girl, my mom told me, “Amy, your voice is irritating and annoying.” And being that those words came from my mother, I took them on and fully believed it.

So instead of being the talkative and sociable kid that I was, I simply stopped talking.

And it wasn’t until I was in my late 30s that I started thinking about how this statement from my mother, who said it out of irritation and who never intended for me to take it on as truth, affected me so fully.   This moment of clarity got me asking myself questions like:

Why am I so afraid?

Why can’t my voice be heard?

What’s holding me back from speaking up?

And in those moments of questioning myself, I finally realized that my voice does matter.

I do have substantial things to say, and I want my voice to be heard.

Does that sound like a conversation you’ve had with yourself?

Where did this conversation lead you?

After stifling my voice for years, it dawned upon me that other people were going through the same thing. I wanted to help so that they didn’t spend their entire life being quiet out of fear.

I wanted people to know that regardless of who’s listening, their voice matters and their story has the potential to impact millions if only they choose to lift their voices.

So, where are you in your life?

Are you allowing fear to stop you?

If so, the only way to change things is by stepping out of your comfort zone and developing your voice. So if you’re ready to change things in your life, I want to encourage you to start standing up for who you are and speaking out no matter what!

To anyone struggling with developing their voice and story, I’d love to support you!!

3 Tips to Unlock Your SEO Potential

Work search engine optimization (SEO) into your website for better Google ranking

Are you looking to take your business to the next level? Search engine optimization (SEO) can be the key to unlocking your potential. SEO refers to the process of optimizing your website and content for higher rankings in search engine results. It’s an important tool for businesses to increase their visibility, reach more customers, and ultimately increase their sales.

But how do you get started with SEO? In this article, we’ll discuss the basics of SEO, why it’s important, and three tips you can use to supercharge your SEO game. So let’s dive right in.

What is SEO?

SEO stands for search engine optimization. It’s a process of optimizing your website and content for higher rankings in search engine results. The goal of SEO is to improve your website’s visibility in organic search engine results. This means that when users search for a particular keyword or phrase, your website will appear higher up in the search results.

SEO involves a variety of tactics and strategies, such as optimizing content, researching keywords, building backlinks, and more. It’s a complex process that requires a lot of research and planning. But it’s also a powerful tool for businesses to increase their visibility, reach more customers, and ultimately increase their sales.

Why is SEO Important?

SEO is important for businesses because it helps them increase their visibility and reach more customers. It’s a proven way to boost traffic and conversions, which leads to more sales and revenue. SEO also helps businesses build credibility and trust with their customers, as it shows that they’re serious about their business and have taken the time to optimize their website.

In addition, SEO can help businesses save money on advertising. By optimizing your website and content, you can rank higher in the search results without having to spend money on paid advertising. This means that you can get more visibility and reach more customers without having to invest a lot of money.

Tips to Supercharge your SEO

Now that you know why SEO is important, let’s look at some tips to help you supercharge your SEO game. Here are three tips to help you get started:

Keyword Research

The first step in optimizing your website for higher rankings is to research relevant keywords. Keywords are the words and phrases that people use when searching for a particular topic or product. By researching the right keywords, you can optimize your content to target these keywords and increase your chances of appearing higher up in the search results.

When researching keywords, it’s important to consider your target audience and the terms they’re likely to use when searching for your product or service. You should also consider the competition for the keywords you’re targeting. If the competition is too high, you may need to focus on more specific or longer-tail keywords to rank in the search results.

Optimize Content

Once you’ve researched the right keywords, the next step is to optimize your content. This involves ensuring that your content contains the keywords you’re targeting and is written in a way that’s easy to read and understand. It’s also important to ensure that your content is engaging and provides value to your readers.

You should also optimize your website’s structure and navigation. This involves making sure your website is easy to navigate and contains relevant links to other pages. This will help search engines understand your website’s structure and content, which can help you rank higher in the search results.

Build Backlinks

Building backlinks is another important part of SEO. Backlinks are links from other websites to your website. These links act as votes of confidence from other websites, and can help improve your rankings in the search results.

When building backlinks, it’s important to focus on quality over quantity. You should only build backlinks from websites that have a high domain authority and are relevant to your industry. This will help ensure that the backlinks you build are valuable and will help improve your rankings.

Monitor Progress

Once you’ve implemented your SEO strategies, it’s important to monitor your progress. This will help you determine what’s working and what’s not, and make adjustments as needed.

You can use tools such as Google Analytics to track your website’s traffic and conversions. This will allow you to see how your SEO efforts are impacting your website’s performance. You can also use tools such as Google Search Console to track your website’s rankings for specific keywords. This will help you determine which keywords are driving the most traffic to your website.

Advanced SEO Techniques

Once you’ve mastered the basics of SEO, you can start exploring more advanced techniques. These techniques can help you further optimize your website and content and get even better results.

Some advanced SEO techniques include local SEO, which focuses on optimizing your website for local search results. You can also focus on optimizing for voice search, which is becoming increasingly popular. Additionally, you can focus on optimizing for featured snippets, which are the answers that appear at the top of search results.

SEO Services

If you don’t have the time or expertise to do SEO yourself, you can hire an SEO agency or consultant. SEO experts have the knowledge and experience to optimize your website and content for higher rankings in the search results. They can also help you create a comprehensive SEO strategy that will help you get the best results.

If you’re looking for an SEO expert, you can start by asking for recommendations from friends or colleagues. You can also look for SEO experts on freelancing websites such as Upwork or Fiverr. Make sure to do your research and read reviews before hiring an SEO expert.

SEO is an important tool for businesses to increase their visibility, reach more customers, and boost sales. It involves a variety of tactics and strategies, such as researching keywords, optimizing content, and building backlinks. If you’re looking to take your business to the next level, optimizing your website and content for higher rankings in search engine results is essential. By following the tips in this blog, you can unlock your SEO potential and supercharge your SEO game.

Seven Business Tips that Helped me Make Progress

Seven Tips That Helped Me Make Progress in Business Over the Years

Let me just be vulnerable and say that being a business owner can really suck sometimes!

It’s all fun and games when we have this magical idea that being an entrepreneur would make life so much easier, but we don’t think of all the hard work, long hours, and hats we have to wear; it can be overwhelming.

We don’t want to think or focus on that, right?

Because we are visionaries who are driven by the results we want to create for our clients and the difference we want to make in the world.

However, to be an actual business owner, it’s important to think about everything, especially in the beginning, when we don’t know everything. I know I sure didn’t.

It takes focus. It takes discipline. And most times, it takes a whole lot of effort. When you finally succeed at your dream, it all becomes worth it.

I won’t lie; in my 15 years of being an entrepreneur, I’ve definitely had days where I wanted to quit and walk away. The difference today for me is, I understand what is important and that I have the opportunity to take control of what’s happening in my life.

So, I would never trade what I’ve learned from tackling all my “business hurdles.”

As a seasoned business owner, I want to provide insight for new entrepreneurs who might be in limbo between throwing in the towel or sticking it out.

Could that be you right now?

Here are 7 tips that helped me make progress over the years:

Manage your time effectively!

It’s very easy to burn out when you’re busy with each and every task. To avoid that, you need to manage your time. What helped me, is blocking off time in my schedule for tasks, client relations, marketing, and sales outreach. Keeping these times are just as important as client work and meetings. Start by blocking off time for a few weeks and adjust as you need to.

Focus on your Goals.

Sometimes life happens, and you get busy putting out fires, but business must go on! To ensure that you’re accomplishing the goals you set for yourself, write them down. Every week put tasks or projects on your calendar that will support your goals. Review them frequently.

Make time for your clients and networking.

Spending time talking to your clients is very important. You want to avoid getting too busy and then forgetting about them in the process. Schedule a time to reach out to them is the best way to ensure you’re always networking.

Quit trying to put all the fires out simultaneously!

Do you believe that you are an amazing multitasker? It’s great that you feel that you can handle everything, but most of us can’t or don’t want to anymore. By understanding that everything doesn’t need your attention immediately, you can step back and analyze. And you can make the choice that’s most important for you. Focus on that instead of everything else.

Ask for help when you need it.

Like I said before, business is a learning process, and you’re not going to know everything. Ultimately making mistakes is a part of business, but by asking for help/guidance, you can navigate it easier and faster. So, when you need help, reach out for help when you need it, whether it’s a mentor, coach, course, or a team member.

Research can make your product/service so much better.

Most of us have created something that didn’t work the first time. Did you do your research first? Did you see if your target market wants your product or services? If not, it’s time to hit the market and do some research.

Test your products before putting them out. Try to get honest opinions before sharing your expertise with the world. Study and learn about your ideal clients before developing a process for an unknown audience.

Manage your emotions; don’t keep them buried!

As business owners, we learn to roll with the punches, but the worst thing to do is keep your feelings bottled up. Allow yourself to feel everything so you can process the emotions and move on to start thinking clearly again. That’s how we grow as people and how the business keeps running smoothly.

Please employ these tips and allow them to help you as they helped me! Learning this helped me grow into the business owner I am today, and it can help you, too, if you let it:)

That said, if you’re ready to grow your business with a coach who’s already been through the wringer and made it out on the other side, we should talk!
