  • How do I want to deliver my story; with humor, a bit of shock, straightforwardness, etc.?

Those are the things you should always consider when you’re crafting a story. Whether you’re creating a story to put into a speech or everyday conversation, these questions will save you from rambling on or being lost for words.

When working in marketing, specifically helping other people share their stories, it becomes very easy to fade into the background…

It becomes a habit to hide behind others’ stories, even if it’s not on purpose.

That’s what happened to me, and after 15 years, A life-changing experience had me sitting there thinking, “What about my brand?” “What about my purpose?” 

And on that day, everything changed.

I stopped looking at myself through the little lens of “just a marketer” and started to see myself as the business owner I am today. Is this a change you want to make but need help knowing where to start?

Well, I’ll tell you: Branding!

All those years ago, I branded my company, and today I had to Rebrand myself and step out of the marketing manager spotlight and into my passion for Business and Brand Coaching. That’s why I created “Rebrand You.”

With this company, I took my own experience of rebranding and created an effective 3-step formula that helped me — and now supports many others — find the confidence they need to succeed in their businesses and life.

The 3C Formula

Luckily for you, I will share my formula in this article so you can use these same tactics and step into your power.

Clarity

Creating a successful brand can be a tall order, especially if you need clarification on who you are and your goals. Achieving clarity of self is essential to create a brand that truly reflects who you are and expresses it to the world. 

To help you get started, ask yourself four key questions:

  • Who am I?
  • What do I want?
  • What is my purpose?
  • What do I stand for?

Answering these questions will provide valuable insight into yourself and aid you in creating a brand that aligns with you. 

PRO TIP: The key is to really be honest with yourself and not answer the questions based on what you know or think others will want to hear. This is your calling, your purpose, so take the time to really think about it.

Confidence

The last thing you’ll need is the confidence to show up consistently and to do it because you believe in yourself.

Put your best foot forward and embrace the challenge and/or rewards each day brings. When we are confident it’s easier to react, smile, and listen to others. Are you wanting a life where you show up as your confident self?

PRO TIP: Start being ok with the idea of being uncomfortable. I’m not talking about shaking in your boot uncomfortable, but taking action, where you take a deep breath and remind yourself, “You Got This”. We grow and evolve by challenging ourselves. For me, nothing great has ever happened when I play it safe.

Courage

After you get the clarity you need, it’s time to develop the courage to step up and show up as yourself – consistently!

Taking action is usually the most challenging part for most people due to fear. 

Still, this step requires you to face your fears, doubts, and insecurities head-on while cultivating trust in yourself to move forward without wavering.

So you should keep showing up and let courage build itself from there!

PRO TIP: If you do find yourself playing small due to fear and uncertainty, do something small that you know you can achieve. Small wins are movements forward. Also, create a power statement when you feel unmotivated. Read my article here where I talk all about creating one.

Living the 3Cs with Intention = Success
